Nili Aharon is the Mayor of Yeruham, a rising leader shaping the future of Israel’s southern region. With a Master’s degree in Diplomacy & Security (Tel Aviv University), a B.A. in Public Administration & Policy (Sapir College, summa cum laude), and a Law degree, Nili brings a rare blend of strategic vision, public-policy expertise, and legal perspective to municipal leadership. A former IDF Captain in the Spokesperson’s Unit, she served during Operation Cast Lead, later becoming spokesperson for the Bedouin Authority and managing the regional Center for Child Development & Early Childhood. She then served as a legislative advisor to Knesset Speaker Yariv Levin and went on to establish a successful law firm specializing in family and civil law. Today Nili leads Yeruham’s accelerated development — attracting investment, driving innovation, and positioning the city as a model for regional growth.
