Ofir Avram is a senior executive and retired lieutenant colonel of the IDF, having served as Commander of the Gaza Reconnaissance Battalion – Unit 414. Avram brings over 15 years of leadership, operational experience, and innovative management in the drone (UAV) and optics domains under wartime conditions. He combines strategic oversight of complex technological programs with hands-on expertise in drone innovation, deployment, and cross-functional team leadership.
As Commander of Unit 414, Israel’s UAV-based reconnaissance and strike unit, Avram led more than 800 personnel across multidisciplinary teams, overseeing the development and deployment of advanced drone technologies. Under his leadership, operational solutions were recognized as “outstanding projects” at the divisional level.
Currently, Avram serves as CMTO of Aerosol and its drone brand, Aero Sentinel, which specializes in exceptional, endurable, and covert drones for military and law enforcement use in Israel and worldwide.
