Manager, R&D and Flight Testing, CAAI - Civil Aviation Authority of Israel
Mr. Ami Weisz is manager of the Research, Development and Flight Testing Department in the Airworthiness Division at CAAI – Civil Aviation Authority of Israel. He joined CAAI 5 years ago, after having completed a 22 year service in the Israeli Air Force as an officer, project manager and aero-design engineer. Ami's department at CAAI is responsible for the airworthiness engineering oversight and operational assessment of both innovative UAS applications and experimental manned aviation programs. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Master's degree in Systems Engineering, both from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
